Contrary to what the rest of the world thinks ...

One of the famous quotes relating to ICT must certainly be "IT doesn't matter" by the eminent writer and journalist Nicholas Carr.  Allthough this might be true for the economy as a whole, it doesn't hold up if your an ICT provider.

Technology is an extremely important succes factor for ICT companies.  While the commodization of ICT is undeniably taking place, it is also true that at the heart of ICT one finds true technological knowledge.  Technological innovation is the only way for ICT companies to survive.
